Friday, September 16th, 2022: Angels Dean Lost for Year
Jimmy Dean will soon find out from his doctors if his season will continue. The first diagnosis was not too positive and stated the Los Angeles (A) reliever could miss the remainder of the year. Dean was injured while throwing a pitch in the Angels-Twins clash at Angel Stadium of Anaheim recently. Doctors said he has a strained rotator cuff muscle and would be out a minimum of 7 weeks.

This year Dean has 52 relief appearances, saving 1. His record is 4-4 with 61 strikeouts in 88 innings and a 4.09 ERA.
Sunday, September 11th, 2022: Great Stroke: Murray Gets 6 Hits
Toronto right fielder Pat Murray really lit up the Los Angeles (A) Angels with a 6-hit barrage today at Skydome -- a performance that sparked the Blue Jays to a 13-3 triumph.

He shrugged off the performance after the game and said, "Sometimes the ball finds outfielders, today the ball found some holes."

P. Murray singled in the 1st, singled in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, hit an RBI single in the 6th, hit a solo-shot off J. Dean in the 8th and hit a two-run home run off B. Davies in the 9th.

Thus far this year Murray is batting .341 with 16 home runs, 76 RBIs and 100 runs scored.
Saturday, September 10th, 2022: Hot Bat Cooled, Ellis Hitless Against Angels

So far in 2022 Ellis is hitting .304 with 1 home run, 43 RBIs and 40 runs scored. He has 88 hits and played in 104 games.
