Media analysts hailed Oakland's signing of Daryl Keeley, one of Beyond the Ivy's brightest stars, as a pivotal move.

While the deal is certain to raise a few eyebrows, Keeley is expected to earn every bit of the $128,670,000 promised him over 5 years.

Oakland officials and Harland Hosey shook hands on a $18,390,000 deal today. The extension will keep Hosey from becoming a free agent for at least 3 years.

Team officials triumphantly announced that the Athletics and superstar catcher Frances Long have closed a deal that keeps the 33-year-old in a Oakland uniform for another 3 years.

Long will earn $8,190,000 as part of the settlement.

Thus far in 2022 Long is batting .268 with 15 home runs, 71 RBIs and 91 runs scored.
