Tuesday, February 7th, 2023: Star MR Carrillo Settles on Texas
Rangers officials presented Leonardo Carrillo to members of the local print media today as their new reliever.

The deal, worth $5,540,000, guarantees the 30-year-old a home in Texas for 2 years. It should improve the ballclub, assuming he plays to his potential.

For his career Carrillo has 28 wins and 22 losses with 19 saves. His ERA stands at 4.12 and he has fired third strikes past 415 batters in 537 innings while giving up 220 walks.

Fans in Texas ushered in Neal Peterson today as their new reliever. The 31-year-old came to terms with the Rangers and will be hauling in $5,550,000 a year over 3 years.

In his career Peterson has made 370 relief appearances and converted 91 saves. His record stands at 35-and-23 with a 3.49 ERA.

Monday, November 14th, 2022: Amadis Torres Named AL's Best Hitter
It's been a year of triumph for veteran Amadis Torres of the Texas Rangers as he hit his way to the 2022 American League Most Valuable Player Award.

The 31-year-old veteran compiled a .353 average and .472 on-base percentage by putting together 207 hits, 23 doubles, 6 triples, 42 home runs and 133 walks. He also scored 136 times and drove in 127 runs.
