Thursday, February 2nd, 2023: Star MR Kersey Settles on Houston
As speculation mounted into the morning, rumors over a final agreement between Hilton Kersey and Houston became a reality, with the star opting for a $80,250,000 deal over 6 years.

Since breaking in, Kersey has posted a 66-61 record with 1 save in 193 appearances. The 29-year-old has rung up 1048 strikeouts, has a 3.82 ERA and has allowed teams to hit .251 against him.

Sunday, October 30th, 2022: It's Over! Houston Defeats Tampa Bay
There is great joy in Houston today after the Astros thumped Tampa Bay 6-3 to cop the 2022 Beyond the Ivy World Series. They defeated the Devil Rays 4-3 to take the series.

This was the 4th time Houston has garnered the league title. During the regular season the Astros chalked up a 104-58 mark and finished in first place in the National League Central.

Tony Williams of the Houston Astros was injured in today's game against Tampa Bay and had to be helped off the field by the trainers. The initial diagnosis is a torn rotator cuff muscle and he is expected to be out for up to 2 months. It happened while Williams was throwing a pitch. "It hurt a lot, to be honest. I just hope it heals soon and I can get back on the field."

This season Williams has compiled a 16-10 record with a 4.34 ERA in 33 starts.
