Saturday, January 28th, 2023: Trade: Naivalurua for Durán
The Tampa Bay Devil Rays have finalized a deal with the Washington Nationals for the services of 23-year old minor league center fielder Manuel Durán. In exchange, the Nationals will receive 22-year old minor league catcher Kona Naivalurua and 21-year old minor league reliever Kane Benning.

Sunday, November 13th, 2022: King of the Hill Announced by American League
The Cy Young Award for 2022 has been presented and the American League winner is Keneth Andres of Tampa Bay.

"It's always nice to receive an award like this," said Andres. "I just hope I can improve on my performance next year and be in the running again," the Devil Rays star told reporters.

Andres excelled with an impressive 19-10 record in 34 starts. In 228 innings he yielded 228 hits and 22 walks, while striking out 177 and compiling a fine 3.28 ERA.

Sunday, October 30th, 2022: It's Over! Houston Defeats Tampa Bay
There is great joy in Houston today after the Astros thumped Tampa Bay 6-3 to cop the 2022 Beyond the Ivy World Series. They defeated the Devil Rays 4-3 to take the series.

This was the 4th time Houston has garnered the league title. During the regular season the Astros chalked up a 104-58 mark and finished in first place in the National League Central.
